CDRP Don`t Be A Clown Campaign

On Monday April 11th 2005, Safe Communities East Riding launch a countywide Vehicle Crime Campaign under the heading "Don’t Be A Clown"
Using a similar format to the successful Christmas Campaign of December 2004, an eye-catching child’s picture is displayed on posters, flyers and vehicle security cards to highlight a serious message to vehicle owners, particularly in the spring and summer months when traffic volume increases due to people going out for the day and going on holiday.

The simple message is:

DON’T LEAVE VALUABLES IN YOUR VEHICLE
KEEP YOUR VEHICLE SECURE
USE A SECURITY DEVICE
KEEP YOUR VEHICLE KEYS SAFE
The campaign is being co-ordinated and run by Sergeant Peter Rogers of Safe Communities East Riding who can be contacted on 01482 887700 ext 1021 or via his mobile 07717703912.
