In March 2002 Harrogate District Safer Communities Partnership launched the
‘Keep Keys Safe ’ campaign to combat the theft of car keys from homes. The leaflet has been used regularly since the launch three years ago.

In September 2003 Harrogate District Safer Communities Partnership launched the
’Lock Out the Sneak Thief’ campaign in response to an upsurge in sneak-in burglaries in one particular area in Harrogate.

Harrogate District Safer Communities Partnership issued a leaflet on the benefits of installing a properly fitted automatic alarm system to reduce the chances of being a victim of domestic burglary.
